OhmCalc performs ideal resistive DC arithmetic from values you enter. It does not inspect a circuit, component, source, wiring, temperature, waveform, or installation.
Data and storage
Values, units, formulas, and results remain in this page. Essential storage remembers locale and consent; optional analytics excludes entered and derived values.
Arithmetic and approximation
Decimals and SI prefixes use exact reduced fractions. A square root is exact only for a perfect rational square; otherwise the displayed result is explicitly approximate.
Responsibility
Confirm real component ratings, tolerances, temperature, transient, AC, wiring, and safety requirements with suitable documentation and a qualified professional. A computed value is not a safety approval.
